Advancement Officer

Christian Alliance International School (CAIS) is a non-profit making school wholly owned by Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Christian and Missionary Alliance, we invite applications for Advancement Officer.

Job duties

  • Coordinate with the Admissions and Advancement team in executing of all the marketing and fundraising campaign events and reporting preparation, including but not limited to the following: sourcing, drafting publication material, promotion, photo shooting, budgeting and administration
  • Assist Admissions and Advancement team in cultivating relations within and outside the school community, including but not limited to staff, parents, students and alumni
  • Market the school’s brand and shape the way we connect with our targeted audience via phone, email, in person and other means
  • Attend key school functions; prepare, write and post any news copy and social media coverage of the event
  • Support the school in preparing presentations for different marketing events as needed
  • Update and maintain the school’s website and other publications
  • Collect data and maintain a systemic database for analysis
  • Coordinate with outside agencies to produce marketing material
  • Providing general administrative support as required
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors or management
  • Be able to manage ad-hoc projects

Job Requirements

  • A recognized degree, preferred in event management, marketing, communications and public relations or related discipline preferably with 3 years’ relevant work experience
  • Experience in planning projects from ground work to results delivery in the educational institution, non-profit organization, charitable organization would be an advantage
  • High proficiency in English. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Fluency in Mandarin would be an advantage
  • Articulate, presentable and possess strong interpersonal skills in order to represent the school’s mission and vision
  • Self-motivated with good analytical skill and be able to work under pressure
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as a team member
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi task and manage time effectively
  • Proficient computer skills with experience in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
